Vetfit is a research-driven service to encourage the veterinary community to be both physically and mentally 'vet-fit'. There are three of us in the team, and my role involves organisation, marketing, design, events management, promotion, and being an 'all round legend' according to my colleagues, friends and CEO's Andy and Charlie. This business allows me to drive my passions in physical and mental health in the veterinary community.

This role not only involved being part of a wonderful organisation that has opened many doors for me already in my career, but allowed me to utilise my skills in organisation, design and management. Roles in this position included managing social media, digital marketing, design, organisational management and project planning.

Having been a committee member of University of Surrey Weightlifting Club for 2 years, this has enabled me to utilise my strengths and interests in design and organisation. - Caring for animal hospital inpatients out of hours – administering medication, cleaning, feeding, walking, critical patient care, and recording information for hospital records. - This out of hours casual role allows development of skills in adapting to rapid change.

This role alongside my studies was extremely interesting and allowed me to get creative with my responsibilities which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Paddle prides itself on local produce and amazing service, tailoring to each and every customer's experience and making sure everyone has a smile on their face. Serving as a member of the team at one of the top 100 restaurants in Britain meant I gained the skills and knowledge in working with innovative and inspiring chefs and cuisine. The creativity was inspiring and made me appreciate the finer attention to detail.
