I took time out from work to travel Australia and South East Asia. I enjoyed all aspects of my time away especially meeting new people from all over the world and discovering new cultures. I spent a year in Australia Working in Sydney and in Surfers Paradise, while visiting and exploring during my time off.Then I back packed around South East Asia for 2 months. Starting in Singapore, then travelling through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. It was a fantastic experience, I have seen some amazing places and met great people.

My role included general day to day duties within the People Team Department, Human Resources, Recruitment, and also the Training Administration. My main duties while working within City Facilities Management included sending correspondence to colleagues regarding investigation meetings, disciplinary hearings, Probationary invites, grievance hearings and appeal hearings.Managing vacancies on both bespoke and national Job Boards including Job Centre Plus and ensuring all vacancies have adhered to significant policies and approval points. Dealing with general absences such as maternity, paternity, sickness and holidays and sending relevant correspondence to employees.Training new colleagues in all aspects of the job.Dealing with new starter and leaver paperwork and liaising with payroll. In the years that I worked for City Facilities Management, I worked my way up from a temporary position to a People Team Administrator to People Team Leader.
