At the time I couldn’t find a job in graphic design but I still wanted experience. I worked at an engineering company for the IT department. I thought the job would include more design opportunities for me but instead of learning more about design I learned more about people, customers and how to cope with deadlines and deal with presentations in front of many people. It wasn’t what I wanted at first but it was what I needed at the time. I helped design a new software for the company which helped them a lot, the software is still used today and helps over 8000 users in the company communicate with each other. I went to Poland and trained groups of people on how to use the new system I created. This was definitely challenging as it was something very new for them, but I took the time to help the users, and gave extra support if necessary.
