Working within Carnival UK’s Technical Operations (Maritime) department, my role requires me to be responsible for the maintenance, performance and improvement of the Asset Management system (AMOS) allowing my colleagues to carry out reconciliation work within platform that manages safe reliable assets with an approx. value of £4.7 billion. I am required to own software/system development and IT transformation for this, and multiple supporting systems.• Ensuring business continuity via system availability and integration• Ownership (within Technical) of the continuous systems integration and interfaces of AMOS with Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT departments• Key SME for software development of AMOS and periodic upgrades• Ownership of AMOS database reporting and data analysis and integration with financial reporting tools• Ownership of policy and process, driving standards across all areas of the business• Ownership of relationship between business and IT, and external vendors• Accountable for Disaster Recovery planning and testing for this area

Working within Carnival UK Technical Operations department, my role was as the principle administrator, for AMOS and CMMS Support (Carnival’s bespoke Support System for AMOS and related systems)• Lead role in initial and ongoing development of BOXI reporting universe• Ensure successful and timely replication of the system and fixing any errors in house, becoming self-sufficient from third party support• Key SME for Technical Business Systems across the business• Key role in major upgrade project and roll out, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, transition and early life support• Write and manage support documents for publication within the AMOS Support System• Providing training and support for new team members and users in the office and on board our vessels

• Administrator of onboard maintenance and purchase database (over 800,000 periodic tasks, 21,900 forms and 88,000 purchase lines per year)• Provide support for all levels of system users, shore side and remotely• Use of MS Access and SQL for appending, extracting and manipulating data
