In March, 2014, I closed the company as a business but continue to work with local families walking down the college path at no cost - it feeds my passion! Capitol Z Solutions assists families down the college path - saving early for college all the way to the inevitable repaying of student loans. Our services include college exploration, understanding the financial aid process, sorting through funding and repayment options and supporting financial literacy. We work in partnership with High School Counselors and Financial Aid Administrators in assisting students and parents. Integrity and passion guide us. Our mission embraces community service by never charging for assistance with the FAFSA and volunteering time to our financial aid associations' activities and to the neediest of families looking toward education to reach distant dreams.

My role has been to introduce ECMC Solutions to school clients primarily in the State of New York. Bolstered by a partnership contract with iGrad, ECMC offers top of the line financial literacy resources that create a proactive approach to default management. Loan Tracker is ECMC's state of the art data platform that supports cohort default management by 1) offering Loan Tracker's platform license, or 2) offering school clients a wide range of services using Loan Tracker to lower student defaults on federal student loans. ECMC Solutions has recently been brought back under the ECMC umbrella.

With nearly 30 years of industry knowledge and experience, Regent Education is the first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider with financial aid as a core business. he company's highly functional, affordable, SaaS solutions are designed to interoperate with and enhance existing Financial Aid Management systems, while enabling institutions to realize a positive, quantifiable ROI. Regent Enterprise is turnkey solution that enables an institution to always be up-to-date and remain compliant with the latest federal regulations and updates. In addition, Regent Enterprise offers multiple enrollment and payment periods allowing an institution to have the administrative capability to manage an online division and support unlimited starts and enrollments with a single platform. With Regent's SNAP product, students get an answer to the affordability question thus erasing a key barrier to enrollment. Marketed student loan products and services by implementing comprehensive marketing strategies in assigned regions. Grew new territory in DC, Maryland and Delaware and developed new market base in New York State, consistently meeting and exceeding loan volume goals. During my tenure with Edamerica, I developed new and maintained existing relationships with over 300 customers including colleges, universities, secondary markets, guarantors, servicers and other customers and industry participants.Edamerica operated as a family and I enjoyed collaboration with technical and operational teams to ensure efficient delivery of loan funds; developed custom collateral to assist college financial aid offices. Because of my personal interest in financial literacy, I created and presented unique programs to staff, students and families; presented enhanced loan counseling to students in a variety of settings. Relying upon my experiences as Chair of Federal Relations for our professional associations, I assisted our company’s Government Relations Officer in special projects involving regulatory, legislative and policy issues. I left Edamerica as part of the reduction in force during the demise of the Federal Family Education Loan Program.Maintained CRM as client manager.

Developed marketing strategy for Maryland, DC, Delaware and New York State and acted as liaison to the marketing department in development of corporate collateral materials for schools and students. Consistently met and exceeded loan volume goals. Constantly assessed and reported industry climate, with particular attention to legislative and regulatory issues affecting financial aid. Suntrust Education Loans supported my passtion for financial literacy and I delivered unique loan counseling sessions on campus in multiple student settings. Maintained Goldmine database as a client manager.

As a student loan servicing company, AFSA provided assistance to lenders in delivering and processing federal student loans. I developed and maintained college and university client and lender relationships in the Northeast and Tri-State area of DC. My focus was on marketing AFSA as a loan servicing partner to school clients' preferred lenders; consistently succeeded in meeting schools' expectations with issue resolution.Initiated and created service center's financial aid training and encouraged developing professional relationships on site with key service center representatives.

Administered all programs of student financial aid, utilizing EDConnect, ELM, COD and Banner (during implementation). Responsibilities included financial aid packaging and processing appeals. Loved counseling prospective students and families, one on one and in group sessions. Worked with returning students to complete financial aid requirements and find acceptable funding options. Established and maintained contacts with lenders, guarantee agencies and servicing agencies. Coordinated and conducted entrance and exit interviews in multiple settings. Represented Siena College at college fairs and actively participated in state and regional professional financial aid associations.

With experience leading PTG and Parent Support Group for College exploration, I was recruited from the District Office of local high school to manage operation of the Financial Aid Office. Responsibilities included supervision of Work Study students, delivering financial aid presentations on campus in group settings and one-on-one sessions. Presented financial aid workshops in the community and represented Keuka College at college fairs. Participated in the implementation of Datatel Colleague as the financial aid management system.Assumed responsibility for the delivery of financial aid awards to a population of 900 students during a 3 month period without a Director of Financial Aid or any other staff. During that period, worked closely with Dean of Admissions and College President. Actively participated in volunteer duties as a member of state and regional financial aid associations; Developed a strong network of leaders and mentors who encouraged my career in financial aid.
