Holly has more than twenty years experience in building and managing successful teams in a vast array of sectors and roles. There isn't a sector that Holly hasn't had experience in; her favourites are the Ocean sector, Health and Wellness/ Life Sciences, and any sector that is creative, growing and entrepreneurial. In 2005 Holly founded Bulldog Interactive Fitness Inc.® franchise system, earning international attention, selling franchises across Canada and the United States, and selling the company three years later to DHX Media. She then launched Bullfrog Power in Atlantic Canada in 2009 and built a stellar team across Canada with the shared goal of helping to save the planet. A decade later she joined the Investment Attraction and Innovation team at Halifax Partnership and most recently was Chief Strategy Officer at The Rounds and helped the company acquire Series A funding. Holly has taken her entrepreneurial and people skills and experience, and her natural love for connecting, and has created Facet by Royer Thompson. Holly has been featured on CTV National News, CBC Venture, Globe and Mail, Chatelaine, Canadian Business, Today’s Parent, Prevention Magazine®, Franchise Business and Canadian Marketing Magazine to name just a few. She was chosen as one of Atlantic Canada’s 5 most interesting businesspeople, and one of the Top 7 to Watch in 2007. Holly is past recipient of the Nova Scotia Export Achievement Award, the Women of Excellence Award, and Innovative Business of the Year. Holly currently serves as a Board member of the Canada Games Centre. She is a former Board member of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission; she is a Facilitator with the Executive Leader’s Forum and spends time as a business coach and advisor.
