I am a Graduate from Bath Spa University, graduating with a 2:1. I helped to set up the Bath Spa Geography Society, of which I was the Vice-President, involving verbal and written communication to arrange external and internal speakers, and organise trips and events for Geography Society members.I was awarded the International Travel Fund from Bath Spa University which allowed me to travel to Kenya to collect data for my dissertation on rural to urban migration. This involved the use of surveys, focus groups and interviews with students and local inhabitants to gain quantitative and qualitative data, where I was awarded a First Class.Sparked by Bath Spa University's third year module 'Coastal and River Management', I am interested in the future of the UK's coasts and rivers due to the impacts of climate change, and the strategies that can be put in place to make local environments more resilient. I am keen to learn some new skills in the administrative and planning sector in order to broaden my experiences and further my knowledge.
