I served as a registered nurse for 47 years, primarily providing care to patients in hospitals. My fascination with the study of the human body was realized as far back as elementary school. Today, my desire to serve others through education and empowerment continues to be my passion post-retirement. In my 47-year tenure as a registered nurse, I have witnessed many changes in the medical field. At times, I felt my original purpose to help others was betrayed with the ever-changing stream of “here today and gone tomorrow” drugs, corporate greed, a decline in quality patient care, staff shortages, and a stressful and strained work environment.My thoughts on Western medicine was transformed after meeting a patient who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. After sharing that she had healed from this disease using the Gerson Therapy, I realized that patients had so many more choices when offered alternative forms of treatments and protocols. Her story ignited my desire to study alternate approaches to wellness and healing.In 2013, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. The value of prevention and being more proactive in taking care of my own health became a priority. What I began learning in 1992, because of being exposed to Gerson Therapy, not only changed my views on current day medicine, but catapulted me into a new mission of helping others to experience total wellness.I have recently learned of a new branch of science in biochemistry that helps the body heal itself. It is literally a scientific breakthrough, possibly bigger than the study of DNA or the discovery of penicillin. The systems in our body are designed to work in harmony, however, our body loses this ability as we age due to cellular inefficiency. I am committed to sharing this science that is making a profound difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals all over the world.
