I was responsible for Seventy Five 7th grade students. I was responsible for teaching English & Language Arts for 12 weeks. I performed all duties normally required of a full-time classroom teacher such as grade papers, contact parents, attend meetings, etc.

I work with groups of children in grades K-4 grade who are struggling in various areas of education. I provide students with a variety of strategies to better help them understand concepts more efficiently. There growth is periodically assessed to determine what strategies and skills they are able to perform and those that they still lack. I provide many hands on activities that provide opportunity for growth, and development.

Temporarily took on the role as a second grade teacher. I was responsible for what most full time classroom teachers encounter on a daily basis. * Provided Instruction using CSCOPE * Assessed student achievement of skills using formal and informal observations * Kept record of performance and attendance * Provided classroom management to provide the students with a safe environment that provided opportunities for learning * Worked Collaboratively with other teachers on the second grade team

I student taught in Kindergarten and Fourth Grade. I worked with two incredibly talented educators who taught me how to be a successful teacher. I was fortunate enough to spend 15 weeks with this school district.During each placement I learned: * Strategies for maintaining management of the classroom * How to provide differentiated instruction in the classroom * Other everyday tasks that a general classroom teacher faces
