I am a space structures robotics researcher currently seeking new opportunities in industry. I just successfully completed my Ph.D dissertation in Mechanical Engineering this month at Virginia Tech. My research focused on using structure-aware simulations to drive damaged structures back into alignment using a robot. While at Virginia Tech I served as a Graduate Researcher at the Field and Space Experimental Robotics Laboratory (FASER). Previously, I attended Cal Poly Pomona where I received my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Astronomy. Within the robotics sector, my passion has always fallen first and foremost with space. I am fortunate that through a set of internships at NASA Langley and with my research at FASER, I have been involved with several space robotics projects including CIRAS (NINJAR), Assemblers, and BORG. These have firmly seat me in the ISAM sphere which I hope to continue working in as I enter into the workforce.Feel free to check out more of my work at my online portfolio:https://sites.google.com/view/eversonrobotics
