•ROBOTICS: Refined the ball joint housing design for repeated stacks of Stewart Platforms called Assemblers. Ran a series of pose demonstrations to validate the operational reach of the serialized parallel robots. Constructed and tested with additional platforms for use in inter-agency collaboration.•MECHANISM DESIGN: Designed a genderless gripper mechanism to allow the Stewart Platforms in Assemblers to connect and disconnect easily. Developed this locking mechanism to be engaged through a series of sliding plates, a rotating cam, and an interlocking gear train allowing for one-sided coupling.•FABRICATION: Carried the genderless gripper through CAD design into 3D printed prototyping and verified that the plate slide and gear driving components were operational.•KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT: Designed a low-profile genderless interface that allowed the Assemblers platforms to modularly connect.

•REAL-TIME CONTROL: Established real-time control through the Speedgoat Realtime Machine and Simulink to control the linear actuators on the NASA Intelligent Jigging and Assembly Robot (NINJAR). In addition, aided in operating the Tendon Actuated Lightweight In-Space Manipulators (TALISMAN) testbed through its Beckhoff real-time control system working with both Simulink and Twincat. •INTEGRATION: Integration of the large Ultramotion Linear Actuators responsible for motion by managing the wiring, tuning their motion, and establishing serial communication to execute controlled motions.•TESTING: Working in a team to support testing operations by CADing and 3D printing components, soldering circuit boards, physical assembly, Vicon camera calibrations, and workspace prep.•KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT: Performed Ground Demonstration 2.0 of the Commercial Infrastructure for Robotic Assembly and Services (CIRAS) project where the NINJAR positioned and held truss joints in place while a truss was fixed around it. Successfully constructed a truss within 5mm and 3 degrees of the ideal truss model.
