I am a current graduate from the University of Canterbury looking for a new challenge and opportunity to apply myself within my desired field. I have completed a Major in Psychology, a minor in Human Services, and a bachelor of sport coaching. I am looking for the right opportunity that will allow me to apply and develop my knowledge as a sport science major. Helping others is my passion. I want to influence individuals to become the best version of themselves through assisting them to live a happy and healthy life. I am currently working at Velocity Karts as a blokart instructor where I have been working for the past two years. This job has allowed me to develop communication skills, leadership skills and social media/advertising skills. This job has involved working in a fast paced work environment, managing and supervising a Blokart track and providing personal coaching advice to customers to maximise their personal blokarting experience. This job required making fast and well-thought decisions to ensure customers were safe (selecting correct sail sizes, dealing with wind changes, and unexpected course changes). My role involved providing a professional level of customer service: greeting customers on site, processing them through a safety briefing, payment procedures and farewells. I was a trusted staff member, who was trusted to be left on site to help manage work site operations and junior staff.
