Testing, stress analysis, and design on high-viscosity silicone in place of hydraulic oil on shock absorbers for the Army’s HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) program, landing gear for the Coast Guard’s HH-65 Dolphin helicopter, and the design and repair of parts for the DeHavilland Twin Otter aircraft. The design process included travel as required to Huntsville, AL to present concepts to the Army for the HIMARS project, and to Dayton, OH to perform drop testing at Wright-Patterson AFB for the Coast Guard.
