Holly Halford-Smith Email and Phone Number
Holly Halford-Smith is a Owner and Head Coach at Active Cricket Coaching. She possess expertise in public speaking, leadership, event planning, fundraising, community development and 13 more skills. She is proficient in English. Colleagues describe her as "Holly was Community representative at Burton and Garran Hall for 2017. I was a volunteer in the community sub-committee coordinated by Holly to run charity/community events which both took place within the hall and among the other residential halls at ANU. Holly had a lot of ambition for the role and managed to execute a wide variety of events. However, the two projects that stood out for me were The World's Greatest Shave and the planning of her own social enterprise. The former was held early in the year and Holly was the pioneering organiser amongst the residential halls that collaborated for the event. Although this event could've easily been held only inside B&G as had been done in previous years, Holly put in the extra yards to make it an inter-hall event and her hard work paid off: a total of $15k was raised, putting the event as 5th most successful across ACT/NSW. In the latter half of 2017, Holly also began laying the groundwork for her social enterprise project, Orenda Africa. She crowdsourced ideas from a few of us in the community sub-committee, giving her pursuit a more concrete foundation. It was encouraging to see Holly dedicate herself to such a forward-thinking initiative and see it tangibly come closer to fruition. Holly is an ambitious and energetic entrepreneur and I look forward to seeing where she goes next. " and "Holly is passionate about helping where there is a need. Her service work initially had a local focus; however, she aspired to apply her skills in parts of the world where the need was even greater. Holly's work in Tanzania makes us very proud. It is inspiring to see someone her age dedicating their time and energy to making a difference where it really matters. We look forward to her visiting us soon to share her experiences and leading others on a similar path."
