Conducted field research on topics including malaria prevention, girl’s education, and AIDS prevention. Co-wrote and co-presented syllabus and curriculum for data analysis training of 120 District Health Workers, influencing health data for over 4.5 million people. Organized office, including flow from field, data entry, and filing of over 10,000 surveys. Designed data entry forms, entered data, and assisted in data analysis.

Supervised 8 project managers working in camps, serving over 60,000 refugees. Represented FORGE in relationships with UN Refugee Agency, Zambian Government, and other agencies. Recruited, reviewed application materials, interviewed, selected, and trained groups of college-age volunteers from the University of Pittsburgh, UCLA, Stanford University and Harvard University to develop and execute projects in a refugee camp setting. Managed refugee leaders in projects including a Library, Women’s Center, Health Center, Creative Arts Center, Community Sports League, and Music Class, serving a community of over 20,000 refugees from 5 countries. Fundraised $6000 using various grassroots efforts, including engaging different organizations. Organized logistics for operations in Lusaka including transportation, food, and accommodation for volunteers, and procuring supplies for the camps.
