I began with Vulcan as a sales account manager. Vulcan is a manufacturer of custom 3-ring binders and ad specialty products.. By year three I was a top producer achieving 100% of quota. My extensive knowledge of both branding and print material production allowed me to excel in this position. In 2006 Vulcan won the first national distribution account in the company’s history. I was asked to take the role of Master Planner-Private Label Brands. In this capacity I managed all contract negotiations, sales/account support and accounting controls. My role was a dual role also involving production planning, raw material procurement and logistics management of moving 8-million units consisting of 173 products annually to 34 destinations in the continental US. Since that time I built this segment of business to support investments of $6-million in equipment with contract terms fully covering all costs to maximize profits. As part of a $2.8 billion, debt-free private company, I was pleased to have been an integral part of the company’s success. My role expanded to include extensive product development, packaging design, product testing, e-commerce visual and data content and supply chain management with vendors worldwide. In 2012 we gained the trust to launch the first Private Label (own brand) products for the largest national retailer of office products in their 1900 US stores. We launched 53 products simultaneously and 100% on-time to 16 destination nationwide, passing all 3rd party testing and inspections in the first rounds. My customer told me no other vendor achieved this level of success. They are using my model as the foundation of their on-going standard for future private label product launches.

Managed all aspects of the club's functions and tournament events, marketing/promotion, membership development, retail Pro Shop, food & beverage, grounds/course maintenance and business financials. During my year there I also coordinated the construction/remodel of the pro shop and office spaces. Developed building Preventive Maintenance program and worked with the Chief Engineer to establish Standard Operating Procedures and inspection reporting. Membership achieved a 7% increase during this year. Bad debt collections were reduced from 17% to 4% with my personal involvement in the dues collection process.

Successfully opened new property with the highest award of Blue Diamond rating. Prior to opening I was responsible for coordinating all start-up marketing and corporate account establishment. We gained the host hotel status for the acts appearing at House of Blues. I personally conducted all hiring and training of personnel. Developed building Preventive Maintenance program and worked with the Chief Engineer to establish Standard Operating Procedures and inspection reporting. I managed all aspects of financials, quality control, Sales/Marketing team goals and success, as well as property events. This was a premiere destination location which opened at the launch of peak season. Daily financials in conjunction with corporate accounting team. Occupancy and revenue exceeded budgets.

Performed all sales/marketing to develop both tourism and corporate accounts. Performed all inspection for quality control, property events management and promotions as well as all daily/quarterly/annual financials in conjunction with corporate accounting team.Hampton Inn - Auburn, ALOpened hotel as Guest Services Manager. During two years there the property won the honoredPresidents Award given to only 10 hotels of the 500+ in the system at that time for outstandingquality, service and data as reported by guests.
