Essential functions:- Promotion and sales of IDT’s full portfolio of products, including custom oligonucleotide solutions across key application areas such as NGS, qPCR, CRISPR, Functional Genomics, and Synthetic Biology- Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with key customers and leverage internal resources, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction- Develop the client relationship by understanding both short-term and long-term needs/goals for optimal positioning of IDT’s products and services- Manage and drive customer consultations and partnerships to achieve profit and revenue growth goals-Schedule sales calls and travel itinerary to address customer needs and execute sales strategies through timely follow up, including detailed notes captured through CRM/Salesforce.com- Maintain regular and informative communications with all other team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, and Inside Sales

I am researching the function of the chromatin remodeling complex, NuRD on myelination in the peripheral nervous system. Interestingly, this complex interacts with Egr2, a master transcriptional regulator of Schwann cell development through the coregulator Nab2. By using NGS methods, we can gain a better understanding of how epigenetic modulation of gene transcription controls development and disease. In particular, this work is relevant for the study of most common neuropathy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a severe form of which is caused by mutations in Egr2-Nab2 interaction.Graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. John Svaren• Thesis project investigating the interactions between Egr2, Nab2, and Chd4 in myelin gene regulation during development and injury.• Developed protocols for in vivo chromatin immunoprecipitation of histone marks for ChIP-seq analysis from myelinating sciatic nerve.• Gained experience in bioinformatics analysis of ChIP-seq samples including sequence quality control, mapping to genomes, and peak calling
