Supporting engagement, retention and the employee experience at Lush!- Execute talent development programs in our retail business including: PDDPs, succession planning, work alignment, and other talent development initiatives.- Provide policy interpretation, counseling, and training for employees and managers on programs, policies and procedures- Advise on people-related activities, hiring, promotion and transfer decisions; manage and resolve performance and employee relations challenges, separations, terminations and leaves- Analyse and report on trends and metrics in partnership with People and Culture colleagues to support data-driven decision-making for your client group- Coach leaders through employee relation challenges, terminations and leaves- present and train on different initiatives at small and large scale company meetings

-Manages candidate development and candidate flow for each assigned requisition including the screening of resumes, candidates, phone interviews and in-person interviews in the LUSH shops throughout North America- Manages candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring that all appropriate processes are followed and recorded appropriately- Manages communication with Hiring Managers on the open positions and status of candidates- Conducts reference checks, offer analysis, and fluent on-boarding experience- Acts as point person for all recruiting needs within the North American retail shops of the Central region- Assists Store Managers in adding value to their internal talent through proper external recruiting- Assists with developing materials and presentations as needed for educating Managers on recruiting and hiring- Supports and manages two field recruiters in region who act as on ground support for talent initiatives- Partnering with People and Culture team to launch new on boarding practices and policies for whole company use

• Manage and monitor postings for open positions on internet job boards: LUSH website, Jobbank, Monster, Careerbuilders, Craigslist, kijiji, and mall websites• Support retail shops with their staff hiring- postings, planning hiring events• Proficient in using Taleo for recruitment, scheduling, parsing and posting opportunities on our website.• Update new hire, review and rejection materials and follow up communication with candidates as needed by the Talent Resource Team• Participate in new market research and identifying possible candidates• Search our databases and search engines to source new candidates for certain positions• Track references and leads for future opportunities • Conduct reference checks• Coordinate staff reviews with other departments• Conduct interviews, coordinate 2nd and third interview opportunities
