• Manage employee day to day relations. Issuing performance reviews/warnings, hire-on testing and dismissals• Full cycle recruitment. Everything from the initial job postings, review of the resumes, phone screens, interviewing, submittal to customers, testing, data entry, job offers and orientations• Coordinate and create employee schedules for 4 plants approx. 175 employees • Responsible for monitoring payroll hours for 4 plants. Inputting time sheets into Enterprise and generating reports for payroll• Produce weekly reports for all 4 plants. Calculating attendance and turnover rates• Handle WSIB incident /injury reports. Follow procedures, document all information and provide all necessary forms to WSIB for review. Coordinate return to work meetings with WSIB and employees in the hopes of finding suitable modified work. • Office Health and Safety Representative – Responsible for monthly safety walk through, overseeing all violence and harassment claims and working with management to ensure all claims are investigated and handled in a professional manner
