EAAA is about to embark on an exciting stage in it's history - turning our ambition for a 24/7 life saving service in to a reality. We need a new base to house our expanded operation and need to raise £2.5m to make it happen. I'm responsible for leading the fundraising appeal that will help us get there.

Norwich, United Kingdom

Responsible for leading a team of 5 to raise a phenomenal amount of money in Norfolk through community fundraising. Role involves encouraging our supporters, making sure they feel valued, coming up with new ways to work better and more effectively and responding quickly to an ever changing charity world. Focused on increasing our corporate income by winning charity of the year pitches (3 out of 3 in one month!), networking and looking at new ways to work with local businesses.

Cricklewood

Strategic and operational delivery for £3.2m income across variety of income streams including running programme (including London marathon), flagship event Cake Break and adrenalin series. Turned team around from performing £120k under budget to £115k over budget in 7 months. Project managed ChallengeMS, brand new online fundraising event with aim to raise £100,000 in one month. Smashed it.

East Of England

Part of new team of Area Fundraisers helping shape community fundraising for the charity. Looked after 11 counties, 43 volunteer led branches and over 100 general volunteers focusing on increasing community income and raising awareness.

Islington, London

Joining the company as Office Manager, I was promoted to Operations Director within six months. Solely responsible for all Operational, financial and strategic planning, implementation and key decision making. Created (and kept within) monthly budget and cash flow forecasts. Managed £170k annual turnover and was a driving force in turning company from 10% loss per annum to 5% profit for last two quarters of 2009 by consistently exceeding membership sales targets. Hub members want to change the world, they taught me everything I know and inspired me to do everything I've done since.
