What I do can be summed up in 3 words:I build relationships. I build relationships that help employees keep more of their paycheck! I get to help and serve others because I know an awful lot about insurance. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, what I know for sure is people don't like insurance and aren't going to enroll in options they don't understand. When someone truly understand their benefit options, they can make informed decision about what may or may not be a good fit for their individual needs. I've worked in Property and Casualty, Life and Heath, was a Liability Claims Adjuster, and built a thriving book of supplemental business as an Independent Agent. These days I specialize in working with brokers to establish Flexible Benefit Plans, COBRA Administration Services and Direct Billing for Retirees and Leave of Absence for their clients. It's rewarding to play a part in helping employees keep more of their paycheck while simultaneously helping clients grow, retain and attract quality talent via great benefit offerings with service I'm personally proud to represent. While working as an Independent Agent, I focused attention on the under-served smaller businesses run by "disadvantaged business owners." (These are defined as businesses led by owners classified as: a female, a minority, a veteran, or one who identifies as LGBTQ.) My work in this space was among the most fulfilling pursuits of my life. The lasting joy of my insurance career is in the relationships I've built with clients and policyholders.
