Growing up in the small town of Pleasant Garden initially had me convinced I had to shrink myself to become accustomed to it. As I grew up, I slowly learned that this was the farthest from the truth and began to spread my wings.Sure, my first step in spreading my wings was only becoming a waitress, but I can proudly say that without my experience in the service industry, I wouldn't be a fraction of the woman or employee I am today. I have always counted it as the foundation that sparked my curiosity about the bigger picture of the business world. There was so much to learn and young me wanted nothing more than to excel in my understanding of its operations.With my next stepping stone at The Hemp Farmacy, all the pieces came together. I am proudly considered a coworker everyone can lean on in their weak moments and hold a very versatile role within the company. From day-to-day needs from the marketing team, retail staff assistance with customers, product clarification, financial Excel sheets, and even operations assistance, I have learned that people are the most important piece within a company.
