Directs day to day operations in the hospital’s first ever Connected Care Center which combined over 6 teams. Includes direct supervision of two Connected Care Center teams that includes 10.7 FTEs with regular opportunity for enhanced departmental and hospital performance including improved throughput, labor management and productivity. In collaboration with Sr. Director, CMO developed operational infrastructure for the Length of Stay Steering Committee that includes governance over three separate value streams of work. With local leaders, drives throughput turnaround enhancing efficiency of operations thereby reducing Observed to Expected by 7%, reducing excess days by 18% and reducing hospital length of stay by 10%.

With local leaders, supported strategic decision making and implementation of Epic’s Transfer Center to include the Interfacility Transport Team as well as Direct Admission workflow. Concurrently designed quality and operational dashboards to support daily operations and improvement efforts. Led the Interfacility Transport Team’s Quality Improvement work with focus on reducing the time to identification of sepsis in the Transport environment. Direct supervision of one team which supported the Patient Access Center in addition to a Discrete Event Simulation Role supporting improvement efforts in the Emergency Department and Operating Room.
