Currently responsible for developing and maintaining a wellness coaching relationship with coaching program participants and assisting them through the process of actively working toward better health by supplying support, encouragement and education.Work on-site with employees using motivational interviewing skills to coach them to make positive lifestyle behavior changes in the areas of nutrition, weight management, physical fitness, stress management, work life balance and tobacco use and other health issues.Establish an on-going relationship with coaching participants and offer support and guidance in establishing behavioral goals that are S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Action-based, Realistic and Time-Limited) and an implementation plan to reach goals.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all participant progress and provide detailed reports on coaching participants’ outcomes and other aggregate data as requested.Be familiar with client benefit package and make referral to other health related vendors as needed.Provide related wellness classes, seminars, health information events to either the coaching group or to the overall corporate population as requested. As needed, market the coaching program on site via information tables, lunch and learns and other means available.

In this coordinator role, I oversaw and administered organizational wellness programs and utilized medical, prescription, HRA, and biometric data to design wellness programs targeting total health management and producing tangible ROI. I also identified and managed key wellness vendors, insurance carriers, and other community partners to improve wellness processes and collaborate with vendors to set strategic goals for wellness program and developed annual wellness calendar and communications plans for client wellness programs on annual basis.Accomplishments:• Improved client’s medical plan non-user rate from 23% to 16% annually for preventive health services.• Certified in health care reform and advised clients on ACA compliance and regulations.• Provided expert consultation and leadership to wellness teams, managing and reporting on program utilization and impact on behavior change.• Attended global wellness conferences to keep updated latest trends and marketplace developments in wellness and presented as keynote speaker.

As Corporate Wellness Officer, I engaged senior-level management to endorse and support a culture of wellness at the worksite and recruited, organized, and managed a global Be Well team with more than 95 local wellness liaisons and 15 regional Be Well champions. I also provided leadership and engaged team on regular basis. Researched and identified a variety of wellness vendors for services and helped select vendors for launch and implementation of national and global programs, while establishing and delivering additional wellness programs, including an executive physical program, AED program with several global educational campaigns, including heart health and colorectal cancer awareness. In addition, I branded the Be Well program with logo and created mission statement, enhancing brand recognition through effective design of collateral materials and posting 41 Be Well articles on employee intranet, and developing four courses for the Bentley Learn Server.Accomplishments:• Created campaign and orchestrated the launch of national HRA and biometric screenings, organized health fairs in 10 locations in US and Canada with 481 people screened.• Implemented a global flu vaccination program, including seasonal flu, H1N1, and Hepatitis B, and tracked participation, outcomes and ROI with an annual ROI of $61K.

As a Health Educator, I developed, implemented, and managed the first Heart Healthy Woman program, a comprehensive system-wide community program for women and heart disease, offered exclusively at Lancaster General Hospital. In addition, I created the Women’s Heart Health department and currently manage all aspects of Heart Healthy Woman program design, strategic plan, marketing materials, and outcome based measurements and supervised and trained health educators, staff and volunteers working with Heart Healthy Woman Program. Additionally, I introduced and executed ROI strategy for HeartCaring, a national program promoting excellence in gender sensitive education, diagnosis and treatment in regards to women and heart disease and prepared, coordinated, and presented various wellness specialty programs including healthy shopping tours, healthy cooking demonstrations, and the Healthy Hearts Support Group.
