- Policy development - supported development of CRUK’s policy position on the NHS cancer workforce following Brexit. Conducted desk based research into the numbers and demographics of international staff in the NHS and immigration legislation in the UK and other countries.- Research and analysis - collated and qualitatively analysed evidence on genetic testing for increased cancer risk. - Events and external stakeholder communication - contacted and collaborated with universities to plan 35 campus visits in October and November. Included securing venues, booking catering, and managing the schedule to ensure BoE staff were able to attend events across the country.- Events and organisation - planned and delivered 4 Insight Days for university students to attract applications to the internships and graduate scheme. Delivered speeches to attendees, detailing the available opportunities, application process, and tips for applications. The Days gathered over 1,000 enquiries for 250 places.- Project management and recruitment - established BoE’s campus ambassador programme, including assessing and interviewing candidates, and developing measurable targets for ambassadors.- Cross organisational communication and teamwork - contributed to redesigning the assessment centre for candidates, by communicating with business areas to determine requirements and creatively incorporating them into interesting tasks.- Senior stakeholder communication - planned and delivered a research task for 4 intern colleagues, and communicated with a member of the Monetary Policy Committee, who gave the interns feedback on their findings.

- Written communication and fundraising - composed a comprehensive and detailed booklet, detailing all of the current level 3 emergencies to which UNICEF was responding. Updated the booklet on a weekly basis, from Country Situation Reports, Media Key Messages, and the UNICEF website. The booklet was shared with prospects and donors, and contributed to an emergency income of nearly £60,000 during my five month internship.- Proposal and report writing - researched and composed proposals and reports, to engage new Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations with UNICEF’s work, and update those who had already given.- Research - identified and researched Major Donor and Trust & Foundation prospects, using WealthEngine. Due Dil, BoardEx, Factary Phi, and media sources.- Events and organisation - supported with event organisation and facilitation, including a pledge dinner, which received pledges totalling at least £45,000, for education work in India, and established relationships with valuable prospects.- Databases - created and maintained accurate records in the ALMS.net database.
