Manages daily operational communications activities for multiple departments within the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P), including campus safety, construction, real estate, transportation and printing. Supports the development of strategic, proactive communications efforts to promote and advance interests of A&P. Responsible for developing cross-departmental and cross-university communications efforts, determining strategy and executing communications plans for A&P. Utilizes diverse skill sets in message development, digital and social platforms, media relations and reputation management support to advance A&P interests. Responds to media relations and public inquiries through research and response development. Provides guidance and direction to team members in management of day-to-day requests and project schedules. Serves as alternate for A&P marketing and communications director on crisis communications.
