Also worked with internal technology teams and external partners to deliver architecture design and data flow illustrations for impact analysis and discovery timelines.For Brewin Dolphin I assisted with the analysis of the data traceability matrix by mapping data from the source tables in the data warehouse, through the Get API’s and stored procedures to reporting database using Azure Data Factory and Azure API component monitoring, alerts and dashboards in Azure Application Insights.For Virgin Money I defined and co-ordinated the scope for penetration testing and lead on the service introduction including the definition of the support model engaging with technology helpdesk, service requests and incident management.I also lead the definition of operability and non-functional requirements including integration with 3rd party service providers such as Broadridge, Hymans, Williams Lea and De La Rue Tall group.For M&G Prudential I defined the requirements and end to end solution across digital and voice channels to ensure the compliance with FCA COBS rules for the provision of investment pathways, cash warnings, incompatibility warnings for M&G SIPP drawdown pensions.

The requirements analysis and functional design of a new offering by JP Morgan on their existing wrap platform for discretionary investment management services on behalf of financial advisers in anticipation of the FCA Retail Distribution Review to change the relationship between Independent Financial Advisers, Investment Management product providers and the advised client.

Provided professional services relating to the development, implementation and integration of HedgeSphere which is a Fund of Hedge Fund portfolio construction and administration system. Was the onsite point person to co-ordinate the client business and Infonic development teams for the full development lifecycle of identified bespoke enhancements and internally sponsored strategic product development. Developed and implemented custom reports in Jasper, sql and developed custom units onsite using the xml metadata configurations supported in java. I joined the company in April 2006 as a Regional Solutions Manager during an expansion into the European Private Equity market to control and execute the onsite configuration and implementation activities relating to the delivery of the packaged solution together with requested bespoke enhancements and custom reports.

I was promoted to the Manager of Caribbean Operations based in Grand Cayman in a multi-dimensional hands-on role for which I was chosen because of my ability to understand the business issues faced by investment managers, formulate processes or technical solutions and implement them with the minimal support from the UK head office due my ability to work independently and cover the full spectrum of business and technical tasks arising from the software development lifecycle.

Lynx Financial Systems (later acquired by Microgen Plc) was a software house and provides packaged and bespoke systems to the Fund Management, Asset Management and Private Banking industries. The applications where developed in VB with either an Access or SQL database and where designed to assist the selling process at point of sale with software to analyse and track the performance of investors fund holdings, provide projections for financial planning, and analyse the portfolio components at asset class and asset and security levels . I was responsible for:The facilitation of user workshops in terms of a JAD philosophy, to analyse business processes in order to identify and document the user and system business requirements. Supervising the development of applications by external contractors using a RAD methodology and testing delivered components against specification and documented test plans.
