Works as part of the the PB Hydropower & Water Resources Group providing support for ongoing projects with responsibilities encompassing the design of structures, the preparation of bid and contract documents, and the preparation of drawings.Recent work experience includes:• Preparing calculations to design various foundations, including the preparation of construction drawings for the Calpine Garrison Energy Center in Dover, Delaware• Performing a stability review of the spillway, West Bulkhead, and East Bulkhead sections of the Lake Lynn Dam under various conditions such as normal, ice, and probable maximum flood• Assisting with the design of modifications to the deteriorated 1900s-era masonry powerhouse at the Hannawa Dam. Project work included modifications to existing deteriorated concrete slabs, replacement of the concrete foundations supporting the downstream wall, removing the approximately 200ft by 30ft downstream wall and erecting new steel framing. Kelsey designed a temporary cofferdam to dewater the tailrace during construction. She also calculated the wind loads to be used in the design of the new wall and the assessment of the existing roof trusses, as well as checked miscellaneous other calculations for the design.• Performing a weekly download and initial review of the data from the instrumentation in the Automated Data Acquisition System at Santeetlah Development. The instrumentation includes visual monitoring, deformation monitoring (survey, inclinometers, and extensometers), piezometers, thermistors, crack gages, seepage gages, and reservoir and tailwater level monitoring devices.

• Assisted with bridge rating calculations for simple and continuous span prestressed concrete girder bridges for the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Department, North Dakota.• Whittier Bridge Type Study, Amesbury/Newburyport, Massachusetts: aided in the creation of preliminary sketches of possible bridge alternatives for complete replacement of the Whittier Bridge and the design of the selected Network Arch alternative.• Sibley Pond Bridge, Canaan/Pittsfield, Maine: completed section property calculations for the precast/prestressed concrete NEXT D beams used in the complete replacement of the 790ft bridge over Sibley Pond• I-91 Brattleboro Vermont: determined girder reactions at piers due to lane loading on concrete NEXT beams and steel girders

• Ares I Mobile Launch Platform Ground Support Equipment Installation Contract Design and Ares I Mobile Launch Platform Construction for NASA• Served as a member of Design and Engineering Support During Construction Teams for the 250 million dollar Mobile Launcher Platform for the Ares I Rocket• Developed and maintained the project criteria database and was responsible for notifying design staff of criteria updates• Maintained the project cable management database which included approximately 6,000 individual cables• Maintained the project equipment database which tracked over 1400 unique items of equipment to be installed on the Mobile Launcher Tower• Responsible for reviewing project criteria and providing direction for 3D modelers to model individual equipment and place the modeled components within the Pro E model of the Mobile Launcher Tower
