It was not what I had gone to school for....but that is a story for another day. My skill set and professional experience has been built from working up the ranks and growing in each position. With an eager thirst for knowledge and passion for helping others, I had structured my professional ladder.By 2020, I was a strong Global Enterprise Sales Manager for Hyatt Corporation, thoroughly enjoying my own pinnacle of success and finding a niche within my selling landscape. I loved the creativity and engagement necessary to connect with customers in this role. The Covid-19 Pandemic, unfortunately, forced an obstacle I had not anticipated – mid-career job loss out of one’s control.AGILITY and ADAPTABILITY in my life:Luckily, I have been agile for most of my adult life. As a proud military spouse, I am accustomed to reinventing myself, identifying paths forward, learning new things, and swiftly adapting to an ever-changing environment. I have lived in ten different cities, successfully balanced a professional career while raising three children, and forced myself out of my comfort zone to pursue higher education opportunities.AGILITY and ADAPTABILITY should never stop:What the global pandemic taught me is that being agile can lead to diversified future experiences, but one needs the courage to get there.
