My primary focus areas are the management and development of the CO2/waterflooded San Andres and Abo assets Sabinal operates in Cochran, Hockley, Terry, Ector, and Gaines counties. This includes drilling new vertical and horizontal producers/injectors and managing the existing wells in our operated areas.The end of 2018 and 2019 was primarily spent creating deep dive oil in place studies for multiple fields across our portfolio and highlighting upside opportunities for new drill locations for both producers and injectors to provide waterflood support. I also planned and executed my first well for the company which was a horizontal San Andres producer.2020 was spent working closely with engineers to focus on maximizing profitability during a low price environment. The planned wells from the previous oil in place studies were further analyzed and permitted for expected future higher oil prices.Significant drilling occurred in 2021 where I planned and executed 8 wells acting as both the prospect creator as well as the on call geologist during drilling. This drilling program was a combination of vertical injectors which saw almost immediate waterflood response as well as horizontal producers to help increase withdraws in an underdeveloped field. This program's significant success lead to an even larger expected drilling program in 2022 with 10 planned wells in the first half of 2022.

I was the geologist for the McElroy Field in Crane and Upton counties where in 2017 I completed a deep potential volumetric study, a Santa Rosa water source volumetric study, and had over 20 of my well work recommendations executed. In 2018 I submitted 19 wells to the well work queue for proactive workovers and worked on a recharacterization of the oil column in the McElroy Field.

Midland, Texas

I provided geological and technical support for 24 conventional CO2/waterfloods in 7 counties across the Permian Basin. This includes managing all Petra projects for the related fields, providing geological support to engineers and geologists, research offset operators drilling and completions, helping develop new Geological Technologists, working with summer interns on their projects, cleaning up and organizing the data that is produced, and creating tools and visualizations to help the technical team better use the data that is gathered.

Dallas, Tx

Main duties include assisting the Sr. Geologist and Engineer by researching data from numerous sources, creating maps and cross-sections, and preparing exhibits for regulatory hearings.

Midland, Tx

In the office I researched prospective well locations, helped design completions, and created stratigraphic models from well logs. On well locations I acted as a mud logger.

Williams, Az

Gave guided tours of the geology and biodiversity of Grand Canyon to visitors and tourists. Also collected rock samples of the Colorado Plateau for research.

Dallas, Tx

Assisted with the creation of maps, cross-sections and other geological exhibits for regulatory hearings.
