Neil Holt is an Ethics & Compliance Professional with over 12 years practical experience, especially in the field of anti-corruption. He is also an experienced business leader and non-executive director. Neil joined international consulting engineers Halcrow in January 1998 and was appointed to Halcrow's main Board in 2000. From 2001 to 2008, he ran one of the Group’s principal operating divisions, and worked across Europe, the Middle East, India, South East Asia, China and East Asia, Africa & North America. Additional responsibilities included developing & implementing:• a global ethical compliance policy & programme, with associated internal guidelines & procedures• a market leading client relationship management programme; and• Halcrow's business improvement programme. He also led the publication of Halcrow’s business principles in 2003, since when Halcrow’s ethical risk management processes have become recognised as industry leading.Neil was an early member of the World Economic Forum’s Engineering & Construction anti-corruption working group, which led to the development of the current WEF PACI Initiative.He is a member of the Export Guarantees Advisory Council, and is a founding member of the UK Anti-Corruption Forum, one of the principal consultative interfaces between UK government and business on anti-corruption matters.
