Since the inception of Nina's World, a major new program on NBC Universal's Sprout network (starring Rita Moreno, Michele Lepe and Mandy Patinkin), have been advising story content, script development, casting, and cultural inclusion and authenticity. Nina embraces the big wonder of everyday moments in the world around her. While living in such a diverse community, Nina gets to experience the world without ever leaving town. Through a close relationship with her Abuelita (grandmother, played by Rita Moreno) and parents, family values and traditions are emphasized. Spanish words and phrases will be introduced in an organic way throughout each episode. Nina also knows that communication is the key to expressing thoughts and emotions. That¹s why she¹s eager to learn American Sign Language to communicate better with deaf friend, Nico. The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting is an innovative award-winning non-profit journalism organization dedicated to supporting the independent international journalism that U.S. media organizations are increasingly less able to undertake. The Center focuses on under-reported topics, promoting high-quality international reporting and creating platforms that reach broad and diverse audiences.The Center's educational programs provide students with fresh information on global issues, help them think critically about the creation and dissemination of news, and inspire them to become active consumers and producers of information. I am honored to work with the Pulitzer Center on this inspiring initiative for a new generation of global citizens.

Independent consultant working with a wide variety of U.S. manufacturing, technology, and service firms to develop strategies for global market expansion. Clients included diverse economic development organizations seeking to build local economies through global opportunities. Areas of expertise: education on global markets and culture; analysis of market opportunities, competition, and entry strategies; establishment of international trade organizations including building Boards, fundraising, leadership recruitment, collaboration with federal and state offices, trade mission organization and liaising with domestic and international stakeholders.

Built the Chester County International Initiative into an award-winning, model organization offering export counseling, seminars, networking and other global business services to companies in Pennsylvania's most economically vibrant county. Due to the organization's strength and reputation, it was merged into a regional export consortium which became the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia.

One-year assignment in Nairobi, Kenya working on the Private Enterprise Development portfolio, which included pioneering work in microenterprise development, particularly working with women's cooperatives, as well as development of the Kenyan government's strategy for export development, such as that for key horticulture crops.

Worked on the integration of issues of particular concern to women in the Bank's country strategies for Colombia and Bolivia.
