A natural caregiver, Mary earned her RN license in 1981 after graduating from the Misericordia School of Nursing in New York City. Her experience includes supervisory positions at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Brentwood (CA) before deciding to focus on Home Health Care.Mary’s role with Home Helpers is to personally interview and approve all caregivers prior to employment. She is also responsible for the development of all client care plans and determining the ideal caregiver for each assignment. Mary is also involved in the on-going process of caregiver performance review and care plan adjustment as needs change. And, of course, Mary is always available to our clients and their family members at any time.

They are bonded and insured and receive ongoing training.We also provide Direct Link, a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) that allows you to be in contact at all times. For help, simply press the small, wireless button worn around your neck or wrist and our trained staff will send help immediately.With Direct Link, you and your loved ones will enjoy peace of mind. The cost is very affordable at about a dollar a day. Best of all, it is available on a monthly basis. No equipment to buy. No long-term commitments or obligations. And, it is personally installed and maintained by our office. Direct Link Features:• You do not need to be a Home Helpers client to take advantage of Direct Link! • Your Direct link is personally installed and tested by a technician from our local office.• You get both a necklace and a wrist watch emergency button. You wear one and place the other in the bathroom in case you need help in the middle of the night.• Direct Link buttons are water-resistant (but, should not be worn in the bathtub or shower).• The Direct Link base unit has a rechargeable battery back-up that will maintain service for up to 8 hours in case of a power failure.• With any power failure or low battery signal, our office is notified immediately by the professional monitoring service.• No contract to sign.
