A native of Fair Oaks, CA Shauna’s passion for helping people led her to a career in Real Estate. Spending her first several years as a licensed real estate agent in the travel industry, Shauna assisted families with their individualized vacation accommodation purchases. She enjoyed being a part of bringing families together for quality time on vacation where they could create long lasting and life changing memories together. Though a graduate of Bella Vista High school in Fair Oaks, Shauna obtained her degrees in Music – Vocal Performance from UCLA and San Diego state and enjoyed a successful regional career in musical theatre and opera throughout Southern California. Shauna enjoys giving back to the community, so in addition to her performance career she also ran a non-profit organization alongside her twin sister with the mission of helping performers, young and old, to achieve their performance careers. Up until the shutdown in March 2020 due to the pandemic, Shauna was implementing her Real Estate knowledge & customer service experience traveling around the United States to help clients legally & successfully terminate their time share deeds and settle their estates. Shauna is currently looking for a fulfilling new opportunity that capitalizes on her diverse educational background and work experience.

Shauna Hart Ostrom is a versatile San Diego based performer with credits in Theatre, Musical Theatre and Opera. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from UCLA and a Master’s of Music degree from SDSU, both in Vocal Performance. She has appeared in numerous productions as a resident artist with The Broadway Theatre in Vista and also with companies such as San Diego Opera, Lyric Opera San Diego, The Welk Resort, UCLA Opera, Westside Opera Workshop, SDSU Opera Theater, and her own company Harts Performance Inc. Favorite local credits include Daisy Hilton in the San Diego premiere(s) of "Side Show", Suzy/Lolette in Puccini's "The Swallow", Eleanor Dunbar in the Welk Resort's "Footloose", Guide II in Lyric Opera's World Premiere of "Rumpelstiltskin" and Polly Dylan in four San Diego Productions of the original musical "Ricky Dean & the Doo Wop Girls" Shauna is a professional member of both AEA (Actors Equity Association) and AGMA (American Guild of Musical Artists).

The Actors Alliance of San Diego is a 510(c)(3) non-profit, membership based service organization dedicated to the advancement, education, and exposure of the theatre artist in San Diego and to enhance the good of the community through the medium of theatre. As the Communications Director, duties included increasing organization's visibility & effectively communicating information regarding AASD to members and the community at large. Planning and coordinating all events and programs including Annual All City Audition, Annual Meeting, Summer Musical Theatre Intensive, Encore productions and networking events. Creating and executing all communications to membership, media and local theatre professionals. Responsible for weekly updates to the website on current auditions, classes, theatre news, events and membership discounts. Managing membership database & program, tracking and managing member retention and seeking new members. Spearheading fundraiser events, ongoing fundraising programs, community outreach and volunteering efforts. Co-hosting ongoing “What’s Happening” Segment KUSI Channel 9.

Harts Performance Inc is a for profit company dedicated to bringing live musical performances to the local San Diego community, with a passion for reaching mature audiences that have limited access to local entertainment.

Duties included: meeting the various needs of 90-250 women per location. Hosting and orchestrating large-scale women's seminars. Responsible for motivating and organizing groups for various charity functions and church fundraisers. Conducting specialized individual and group counseling sessions. Managing children's programs, which included the screening/interviewing of teachers and monitoring of classes and curriculum. Coordinating and performing (vocalist/musician) theatrical/musical productions for large groups. Motivational speaker at numerous seminars, retreats, and women's conferences.
