SmartGrid - Developed PV system. The system consist of a charger/ inverter combi and an PV solar module. The system is making smart use of an intermediate battery buffer in order to have more control over the grid feed in energy. During daytime the batteries are given a higher priority over the grid feed in trying to charge the batteries as much as possible.During nighttime the battery power can be used to supply the consumers while the battery is discharged again. In case of a grid outage the system is still able to utilize the solar power. E-propulsion - Developed a prototype 12kW 3 phase motor drive. This power module is integrated in a hybrid variable speed genset.
