• The Director of Finance is responsible to the General Manager. The Director of Finance is in the position to assist and advise the General Manager and to supervise the accounting section is operated efficiently in accordance to the policies set forth by the General Manager and NWHTY within the limits of the stipulated hotel regulations. The Director of Finance must prepare the necessary data for accounting reports and accounting statements and maintain an accounting system and methods of administration to effectively manage the assets of the hotel. The Director of Finance must maintain accounting records per the instructions of NWHTY and prepare financial reports & accounting statements promptly. The Director of Finance must abide with the laws and accounting principles of the region the hotel is located. If they are contrary to NWHTY policy, they need to be reported to NWHTY. The Director of Finance must safeguard important documents, other than accounting documentation. The Director of Finance must be in communication with hotel Controllers in other regions for the exchange of accounting system and hotel operation information.
