About Honar Issa
Being in academic environment since 2004, I served as a faculty member in various universities in Kurdistan and UK, teaching structural engineering related courses, before becoming the founding dean of engineering at Soran University in 2012. Since its inception in 2013, I was involved in establishing The American University of Kurdistan (AUK) from scratch. As an active member of the Board of Trustees and supervisor of establishment, I got involved in developing AUK facilities and in building the academic house of University.
