Honbo Zhou is the author of the book "The Internet of Things in the Cloud" published by Taylor and Francis in 2012 (it's Chinese version was written in 2007 and published in 2010). He is currently founder and CEO of UbiLink and Director of Boards of Qingdao Haier and Hangbang High-tech. He was GM of Foton Fleet Telematics company, Executive Director of Board of Technovator, CTO&COO of TongFang Software Co. Ltd., of a leading M2M and EAI software products provider in China, and Chief Software Scientist of TsinghuaTongfang, the second largest system integrator in China. He has more than 25 years of experience in software industries in both US and China. He has worked as a HPC and grid computing research scientist in Oak Ridge National Lab. of US DOE, and for companies such as IBM, BEA, and Silicon Valley start ups as senior engineers and tech managers for more than 10 years in USA before he went back to China in 2003 to start his pioneering works on IoT. He has been working in China and lead and architected the development of TongFang's flagship product of ezONE/ezM2M middleware (since 2004), which has won 20+ prizes including the top 10 innovative software product in China in 2007, and one of the most successful vertical application suites on top of ezM2M for smart building (with leading market share in China since 2005) ezIBS has won the gold medal award of MOHURD of China in 2006. He is VP of China's Middleware Association and member & expert of 10+ IoT related industry and academic associations including the MIIT SI association; adjunct professors of UESTC in Chengdu and Beijing Jiao-tong University.
