Clearing, Off Branch ATM and Payment & Cash Management Services – Receivables Operations, Cash Transaction & CTS Processing• Manage the processing of clearing cheques deposited and issued by HSBC customers on a day to day basis. • Manage the cash flows and cash requirements for all the HSBC branches.• Maintain good relationship with the regulator and the other member Banks.• Vendor management for clearing operations, cash management and Off Branch ATMs.• Creating and maintaining business rapport with the regulator by periodic visits.• Ensuring strict control on all the processes to meet audit and regulatory requirements.• Central cash and Currency chest management.• Expertise in COS Printing• Preparing weekly /monthly MIS.• Handling and monitoring a team of 5 staffs.• Performing various kinds of audits like auditing of cash vaults, etc.• Handling queries / operational issues on PCM Collections i.e. paper (cheque & cash); providing resolution within agreed TATs; improving turnaround time; reducing costs and error rates. • Interface between the bank and third party service providers basis queries received from internal departments/ customers • Managing of CTS cheque processing vendors, Follow-up with the local processing vendor, ensuring the daily CTS cheque processing is completed before TAT.• Liaising with (a) CTS team for any discrepancies or issues detected during CTS cheque processing (b) Network team for any link issue faced by local processing vendor (c) Reconciliation vendor to complete the reconciliation of processed CTS cheque’s and ensuring the same is archived post completion of processing.
