1. Tested PC Tools’ anti-malware product Spyware Doctor 4.0 & 5.0, and took ownership in testing the File Recover 6.1 and 6.2. Transferred to test PC Tools’ other products including PC Tools Antivirus, Registry Mechanic and Privacy Guardian.2. Strictly followed PC Tools’ software testing procedures: made test plans, analysed feature specifications for Spyware Doctor and File Recover and designed test cases using Microsoft Excel.3. Performed functionality, regression, sociability, benchmark, load and exploratory testing on virtual environment software (VMware Workstation 5.5), which included virtual images of most Windows Operating System versions. Produced daily testing summaries and reports, and prioritized, filtered and logged software defects using Seapine’s Test Track Pro defect management software.4. Prepared Release Notes for Spyware Doctor 5.0 and File Recover 6.1, performed post-release testing, gave training presentations to the Customer Support Services team (CSS) and followed up issues raised by customers on the PC Tools website forum.5.Worked with the Malware Research Department and Development Team to follow up different defects.6.Set up and updated False Positive testing environments with the latest popular third Party Applications on Win98/2K/XP/Vista Operating Systems, on a regular basis in the QA Lab.
