• Based upon market dynamics and supply demand situation, develop best strategy for the category. Align strategy with the business.• Analyze market trend and pricing forecast• Ensure effective relationship with suppliers to secure supply as the commodity markets for chemicals, as markets change quickly.• Keep pricing very competitive, without disrupting the above mentioned supplier relationship• Negotiate contracts with existing and new suppliers (Supplier Development Program) to ensure lowest possible cost• Seek opportunity for LCC sourcing

• Develop and implement Category Strategy and Plan for EMEA (average annual investment 200M USD) • Frequent review with key Stakeholders on strategy alignment and project status update• Actively participate in global projects in field input and Capex.• Sourcing, negotiation with the supplier on the regional contract, manage supplier relationship• Work closely with engineering to make sure investment projects are finished on time, safe and in budget with competitive price• Categorize suppliers according to Kraljic matrix, set up vendor profile, supplier pools for key suppliers, and manage relationship• Optimize supplier base across plants within Europe, work with engineering to optimize specification and develop regional agreements.

•Develop & maintain deep expertise in the assigned subcategory area. e.g., market dynamics, supplier economics, Total Cost of Ownership, etc •Develop detailed understanding of the current subcategory activity within Cargill, e.g., subcategory spend profile, supplier performance, volume forecasts•Together with the regional category lead, develop subcategory strategies & drive execution through implementation at the BU level (coordinating with the BU sourcing teams)•Lead regional category efforts (engage & coordinate BU Sourcing teams to execute strategies) – e.g., gather spend baseline data, lead negotiations, cascade communication, monitor supplier performance and compliance to regional agreements, etc.•Identify and execute opportunities to Cargill worldwide for new saving potential from China/Asia in Packaging.

•Support all NPD for new material sourcing and (new) supplier development.•Develop back up suppliers for key commodities to achieve cost savings. Work closely with QC and supply chain to ensure smooth material supply and optimum supply chain.•Negotiate prices and contracts and improve payment terms to achieve cost reduction target and improve DPO.•Manage supplier relationships including performance evaluation (SPAS) •Set up purchasing policy and procedure for ISO standard•Support Asia Pacific region with regional/global sourcing of packaging (carton and box) and implement action plan with all CBU of Danone.•Collect and manage market information and perform cost drive analysis for key commodities•Involve in the selection, negotiation of co-packer

•Responsible for purchasing commodities (vegetable oil), ingredients and packaging (consumer and industrial packaging), with a total purchasing value of around USD 8 million/year•In charge of import and export business•Develop and manage suppliers•Coordinate with headquarter to find and implement potential project for packaging cost reductions (i.e. local packaging export to Australia)•Involve in the project of selection and evaluation of logistics service provider
