About Hong Jin

With extensive experience in developing viral vaccine, oncolytic virus, viral vector and antiviral drug from concept to clinical evaluations and commercialization, I am passionate to bring biological products to patients. • I have pioneered reverse genetic systems for influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and Newcastle disease virus (NDV) for vaccine characterization and manufacture. I have contributed to progress several candidate drugs to clinical evaluations and commercial production such as NDV oncolytic virus (Phase 1), live attenuated RSV vaccine and influenza pandemic vaccines (Phase 1), anti-RSV mAb (Phase 3), and commercial live attenuated influenza vaccine (FluMist).• My scientific and management leadership enabled the company to be the first to deliver the 2009 influenza pandemic vaccine to the market. • My accomplishments are reflected in pipeline progression, excellent track records in getting grants, patents (>12), scientific publications (>100), and numerous conference presentations.
