I am currently developing social security products for Scottish Government within the Social Security Directorate. As part of an Agile team I have responsibilities which include developing solutions for benefit devolution; managing stakeholders and planning with them to ensure service components are delivered at the right time; and developing benefits for Scottish carers. I play a central management role in a multi-disciplinary team that includes project managers, business analysts, user researchers, content designers, technical architects, service designers and more.

Within the Digital Services directorate, I had lead responsibility for building relationships with the employers and training providers who use the apprenticeships.scot website. As part of an Agile team I represented the requirements of stakeholders for our website. I was also appointed to the inaugural Skills Development Scotland Youth Board, ensuring that the contributions, opinions and talents of Young People within SDS are recognised.

I was responsible for the Service Design & Innovation directorate's programme governance, including budget management, risk and reporting. I was also a part of the Graduate Apprenticeships development team. I developed the directorate's onboarding process for new starts.

I assisted Digital Connextions with primary market research as well as social media strategy generation. My work included writing recommendation reports for bringing their product to specific markets.

I was both the elected Vice President and Charity Trustee of the University of Strathclyde Students' Association. This involved the representation of approximately 22, 000 students at local and national level. I led on the development and implementation of the Students' Association's employment skills programme which was supported by private sector employers and third sector organisations. We were awarded the accolade of NUS Scotland's Students Union of the Year award in 2014. During my time as the lead officer on student volunteer recruitment and retention we recorded a record breaking 28, 489 volunteer hours from students (a 27% increase from the previous year).

Being President of Enactus (formerly known as SIFE) Strathclyde meant ensuring all branches of the Strathclyde branch were functioning well together as a cohesive structure.During my time at Enactus (including as President and also before that as project leader):-A complete restructure of the organization to ensure better communication between departments-Ensured individuals received sufficient training in order to function professionally-Acted as spokesperson for the organization-Was apart of the team during the year it was awarded Committee of the Year (best of 120 clubs and societies in 2011/12)-Delivered a workshop in entrepreneurship to primary school children at St. Mungo's Primary-Co-organizer of a "fun-run" fundraiser which saw 30 participants turn out in Glasgow Green-Created an entire audio-track for the fun-run with commentary and re-mixing despite only self-taught production skills-Alongside the team; ran a charity store in the Students' Union for 2 months-Was very active in the team for marketing when it came to engaging and recruiting students - at one point we went from 9 members to 60 over one week of recruitment.

I was responsible for delivering operations on the shop floor and maintaining the product flow system that the company is known for. The customer service skills which I gained from working in one of Glasgow's most frequented fast-food outlets were invaluable to me in my future jobs and also has enabled me to work comfortable under pressure.
