Recently, I come back to the publishing industry, but it is totally a different world. Many publishing companies, like ours, have developed online platforms and launched online bookshop. It is exactly a great chance for me to utilize what I have experienced and learnt in digital marketing and project management.Let’s see what I can do here…

Bigger company means bigger challenge, but it could not stop me.Different from working in the digital agency where I was responsible for on-hand marketing duties, I became the coordinator between business and IT departments, internal product owners and external vendors, through complicated procedure and under strict compliance. These experiences led to a sharp growth of my project management skills and knowledge on organizational behavior.

With hope and passion, I joined the digital agency.As the only person in marketing, I have lots of responsibilities and opportunities. It was the valuable moment when a young marketer could speak and work for the marketing strategy and product development. I still remember those days when I successfully promote our mobile app to the top of Appstore and when our clients’ websites outperforms all others in Google and Yahoo.

As reading is my hobby, working in bookstore is definitely a meaningful start of my career. Not only did I organize book fairs in various university campuses and exhibition centers, but also directly pitch academic titles to professors. More importantly, I started to apply my computer knowledge in workplace, such as email marketing, website content management and flyer design. These experiences laid down solid foundation for my career in digital agency.
