Hongyu Pan is a Master's student in the International Developmental Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University, concentrating on global governance and policies planning. She is skilled in educational analysis, planning, and curriculum design in an international context, and has experience in conducting assessments and creating data-driven plans for international organizations and education sectors. Hongyu finished her Bachelor's Degree of Education and Communication with a minor in International Studies in the University of Washington in June 2023. She was working for the One City Project, a non-profit bilingual education organization promoting bilingual education equity and accessibility, as an administrative intern. Experienced with Power Apps design, website design and management, and content creation. Meanwhile, she was also a voluntary bilingual teaching assistant in Beacon Hill International Elementary School in Seattle, Washington. Assisted to support in-classroom teaching; Created and translated relevant teaching materials. Inclusion and diversity are core values that Hongyu is passionate about promoting within the education industry. As a multilingual person, she values languages and cultural heritage as the important part of her identity. She is always open to communication and eager to exchange diverse insights. Eager to learn and support the organization's mission, she aims to help establish and maintain connections among individuals, the community, and broader society, thereby maximizing the benefits for all stakeholders. As a learner and educational practitioner, Hongyu also values the concept of equality and equity. She is willing to contribute her knowledge and innovation to the global education equity to improve individual's well-being.
