After graduating with a 2:1 BA Hons in English Literature from the University of Sussex, I am currently the Office Services Supervisor at Mastercrate. My duties include entering and logging data, answering phones and emails, and liaising with customers, assisting with media and online promotion, as well as acting as technical support in the office, and generally helping the company during their busy periods. I am currently helping to launch a brand new website design for the company. My work experience in office-based jobs, namely Travelers and Mastercrate, has helped broaden my understandings of multiple computer programs. In school I completed the ECDL Course (European Computer Driving Licence), giving me a strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and I was able to utilise this knowledge in my roles at Travelers and Mastercrate. I also have a broad knowledge of Outlook; having acted as a personal assistant to one of the leaders of the Strategic Planning and Execution team at Travelers, my daily activities involved organising his calendar and setting up meetings with some of the most important members of staff throughout the company, including board members, and occasionally attending these meetings alongside my boss to assist him. Additionally, I was introduced to Visio and was tasked with creating workflow diagrams on behalf of the business analysts on my team for their business meetings with clients. Having worked in numerous retail stores, I have excellent customer service skills and am incredibly confident working with new people, whether that be colleagues, clients, or members of the public. Additionally, having worked as a Pool Lifeguard, I have been trained in De Fibrillation and Emergency First Aid.
