This role focuses on increasing non-dues revenue for events, projects, and initiatives while fostering relationships with industry, academia, and government organizations. Reporting to executive leadership, the role aligns efforts with INCOSE’s mission to advance systems engineering globally.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and implement a business development strategy aligned with INCOSE’s strategic plan.Identify growth opportunities and trends, setting and achieving revenue and partnership goals.Expanding Non-Dues RevenueSecure sponsorships and funding for events like the International Symposium and International Workshop.Create revenue-generating programs tied to INCOSE’s projects and resources.Design partnerships that deliver sustainable financial support.Partnership DevelopmentStrengthen relationships with industry, academia, and government agencies.Collaborate with the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) to grow corporate partnerships.Represent INCOSE at high-level events to promote organizational goals.Membership Growth and RetentionDrive initiatives to grow individual and corporate membership globally.Enhance member value propositions, including career resources, training, and certifications.Support retention through innovative programs tailored to members’ needs.Revenue GenerationDevelop sponsorship packages for initiatives like the SE Handbook and Systems Engineering Tools Database (SETDB).Align revenue efforts with strategic goals and optimize results to meet targets.Market ResearchConduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.Provide data-driven recommendations for decision-making and strategy development.Team LeadershipBuild and lead a high-performing business development team.
