I'm a big believer in shaking things up. Maybe that's why I uprooted my life and dove into the world of FinTech head first. Maybe trading in the Texas heat for the Montana cold had a little something to do with it too...I spent the early part of my professional life working alongside brilliant financial advisors (each one of them completely different than the next) and keeping a close eye on industry trends. So when I first caught wind of the fee-for-service model, my interest was piqued. It's a no-brainer that the industry has shifted from portfolio management to personalized financial advice - and not just for retirees, but for younger generations too.My time in financial practices led me to meet many wonderful families, but I realized my value lied in helping advisors, not clients. My early days with AdvicePay as a Customer Success Manager to our largest customers were filled with finding solutions that helped practices run more efficiently. I found my passion for Product and helping the AdvicePay platform grow in ways that allow all our users to spend more time helping their clients. I may have traded in BBQ, TexMex, and flat plains for huckleberries, summiting mountains, and snowboarding, but Texas will always be the state that raised me. After all, you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take "y'all" out of her vocabulary. It's a testament to my commitment to efficiency!
