As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer I report directly to the CIO and help lead the Information Technology directives with a team of 32 people within the IT Department. I am directly responsible for managing the physical and virtual infrastructure that supports the needs for all of Anderson Hospital, Anderson Medical Group and remote offices and sites.Responsible for 2 different VMware vSphere Environments - currently version 7 and upgrading to version 8 by 01/2023, consisting of a mix of over 40 Dell & Cisco M5 Blade ESX Hosts. Nimble/HPE, NetApp, Dell Data Domain Storage Arrays. Cisco switches, Cisco MDS Fabric Fiber Switches, Brocade Fiber Switches. Help manage our Meditech Expanse EMR system and underlying virtual infrastructure consisting of close to 70 bolt-on applications and systems used 24/7 by the hospital. Responsible for managing Commvault and vRanger backup systems and storage, facilitating in backing up our Meditech EMR systems, Back Office Production systems, and core IT Systems. Responsible for managing and maintaining VMware Horizon 8.0 Environment consisting of around 400 VM’s for several different on-premise departments and remote workforce across the globe. Recently migrated our Zevenet Load Balancer environment to an F5 BIG-IP load balancer that supports our internal and external facing production sites for maximum uptime. Help maintain an on-premise Exchange 2016 environment with over 2,000 users. We are actively in the process of migrating to Office 365 11/2023 and 12/2023.

• Manage all Infrastructure and Software at Office and Datacenter including Sonicwall Firewall, Dell and Cisco Switch's, Dell Compellent and EqualLogic Storage, Dell CMC Chassis with M620 blades. • Implemented Okta SSO w/ MFA companywide. • Project planning of on-premise Exchange 2013 to Office 365. Plan to cutover to 365 this fall.• Managed 3 different vSphere 6.0 and up virtualization environments in both Office and Datacenter. • Installed and Configured vCenter 6.5 and ESX6.5 for a new vSphere 6.5 environment, built from the ground up. • Replace Sonicwall WiFi Access Points in office to improve the Wireless experience for end users.

• Responsible for technical engineering and effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related physical & virtual infrastructure.• Strong Windows Server administration experience in an enterprise environment.• Purchase, rack, configure and deploy operating systems for high volume HA environments. • Administer and maintain vSphere 5.5 environment with 2,500 – 3,000 virtual machines. Deployment and configuration of operating systems, performance, uptime, etc. This includes over 80 physical servers, (both Dell PowerEdge rack servers and Dell FX2 Chassis servers), utilizing both local SSD disk storage and Dell Equallogic SAN Storage. • Familiar using most Atlassian products, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, SourceTree, FishEye, Crucible. Additionally experienced in engineering and building out the virtual machines in an HA configuration for each of these systems. • Experience with Windows Clustering, NLB, SQL. • Architected, Engineered and deployed a working POC of vRealize Automation Center 6.2. • Light experience using Microsoft Azure and troubleshooting environment issues within Azure.

• Administered and maintained key back office systems for IT Operations. • Architected, engineered, deployed a vCloud Director 5.1 environment that supported up to 1,500 vm’s for over 300 end users in Development, Sales and Client Services departments. • As an early Beta user of vCloud Connector, engineered and deployed vCloud Connector to allow deployments and migrations of VM’s from on-premise vCloud Director to vCloud Hybrid Service over a layer 2 vpn connection, (known today as vCloud Air). • Maintained and scaled Avaya phone system from 60 to over 400 users, while keeping system uptime 99.999%. • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting vSphere/vCenter • Communicate proposed changes and improvements for optimal performance and reliability of production systems that provide value to the business, internal and external clients. • Experience administering Microsoft DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy. • Handled P2V conversions using VMware Converter. • Administered NAT rules and VIPs in Fortinet, Fortigate firewalls. • Light experience installing Relativity software on single server or clustered environments. • Strong troubleshooting experience with various operating systems, software, applications, hardware. • Experience moving into new offices, responsible for all hardware of office and all employees during move.
