Started with Vivage as Activity Director and then was accepted into their Administrator in Training program, earning my Nursing Home Administrator license. Now I run a skilled nursing facility overseeing all aspects of operations. I manage staff, oversee financials, ensure compliance, and have operational oversight of all departments. This position combines the challenges of practice management and residential management. Some days are tough, but more are rewarding. Seeing the impact I have on my residents lives puts a smile on my face.

We are a locally owned and operated health care company specializing in transitional care for aging and disabled patients who are unable to visit a doctor’s office. We work with skilled nursing facilities, independent and assisted living communities, and group homes across Central Texas to provide quality, continued care for our patients. ~ Develop and produce operational and IT solutions for a brand new   medical practice, while managing day to day operations of the office. ~ Supervised scheduling, billing, medical assistants, and clinical   coordination.     ~ Train and develop new staff members in every role of the organization   including administrative and clinical staff.    ~ Create and present various financial and productivity reports to the   investors of the practice and provide insight on initiatives to achieve   operational and financial goals

Enable students to overcome perceived barriers to pursuing their education, advising degree programs that fit their needs, assist with the enrollment process and coordinate various support staff.

Develop and implement a recreation program for nursing home specializing in a younger psych population to include continuation of life roles, and development of health leisure life styles post discharge.
