Chris was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 1980 and worked in the City of London before moving to Hong Kong in 1987 where he has worked for two large Hong Kong firms, being a partner and Head of the Corporate Commercial Department at both establishments. Chris advises on a wide range of corporate commercial, corporate finance, mergers and acquisition, China investment, information technology, employment and business immigration matters. Chris provides strategic planning and advice to commercial entities in Hong Kong and Europe and prides himself on providing practical business solutions to commercial problems. He has written articles and conducted seminars on a variety of differential commercial topics in Asia, Europe and North America and has a strong commitment to social endeavours, one of which is the World Justice Project (WJP), where Chris is an accredited contributor to the WJP Rule of Law Index. In addition to his Honours Degree in Law, Chris also has a Masters Degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from Strathclyde University.
